Tyson Parks begins his 5th year coaching at Southeast and his 3rd year as Associate Head Coach and Recruiting Coordinator of the Storm Baseball Program. 

During his time at Southeast,  Tyson has helped develop 3 All-Americans, 2 Marucci Elite Hitter Award Winners, 2 National Gold Glove Award Winners as well as numerous All-Region and All-District Selections. Tyson has also been a big part of sending 28 players to NCAA Division 1 or Division 2 level over the past 4 years. 

Tyson began his Collegiate Coaching Career right here at SCC in 2012. Since his arrival, the baseball program has accumulated 142 wins, two Region IX champioships,  and reset the school record for wins each of his first 3 seasons with the program. 

Before SCC, Parks played College Baseball at The University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he earned All-Conference Sun-Belt Honors as a Senior in 2010 while earning his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. 

Before UALR, Parks played one year at Cowley College in Arkansas City, Kansas where he was an All-Conference Selection as well while earning his Associate of Arts Degree. 

Parks graduated from Beatrice High School in Beatrice, Nebraska in 2005. In high school, Parks was a 3 sport athlete earning All-State honors in both Baseball and Basketball. 

Tyson is currently earning his Master's Degree in Athletics Administration.

He has one brother, Dion, who is the Head Coach of the Storm Baseball Program. He also has one sister, Cassandra. Tyson is married to Karissa Parks and they reside in Beatrice.
